Royalty Qualifications
Qualifications Highlights:
This is an overview. For a full and official list of qualifications, please see the Royalty Program Contestant Guidelines.
Age Requirements:
Queen: Contestants must be 16-21 years of age
Princess: Contestants must be 12-15 years of age
Horsemanship:
Each contestant must demonstrate to the board and the judges that they are mounted on a well-broke horse that is accustomed to loud noises and commotion. If this not the case, the board will ask the contestant to find a new horse or the board will provide help to find a different one.
